Cover of Invisible Companions by J. Bradley Wigger

We have been exploring the wild and wonderful ways children relate to the “see-through” world around them. Our team has interviewed children all over the US as well as in Mexico, Kenya, Nepal, Malawi, and in the Dominican Republic.z-ratta (36)

In addition to interviewing children and parents about imaginary companions, we have asked them about other invisible beings, from angels and gods to ancestors, spirits, fairies, and even Santa Claus, depending on the culture.

A book based upon the research is now out with Stanford University Press Link or Amazon Link
